I am using Windows XP Proffesional SP2 on client

Has the server been renamed? that is sometimes a cause of this error. It's
not easy to fix though, I spent ages trying to fix it on a server once and
never got to the bottom of it.|||Hi Thomarse,
Thx for your prompt reply. I have seend the link u send me. I have
not rename the server. This is a fresh new Installation of OS & SQL Server.
However In this document they mention the Use of Setspn.exe. I am not sure
whether it works. Bcas I tried that copy registry option mentioned in this
document on my client Which did not work.
Once again thx.
