Hi,
I had registered an SQL server (same network) in the past through EM and
everything worked fine until yesterday.
If I try to register that server today, I get an error message:
SQL server does not exist or access denied ConnectionOpen(Connect())
Can anybody give me some clues on how I can resolve this?
I still have access to that server on the network, I can Ping it and I tried
stopping the service and restarting it.Hello raymond
The first thing that comes to mind is that it's a rights issue.
Did something change e.g. with the account slq sers running under?

Forget it everybody, that is, for now.
Just tried again and it worked for me, but my office buddy still cannot get
a connection.
Must be a buggy network problem (a BNP).
I'll talk to my network guy.
