cannot register new server

hi
as mostly when create a db, mus register 1st, but i dunnoe y keep giv me error...
error msg: sql server does not exist or access denied.connectionOpen(connect())
last time when i install evaluation copy dun haf this problem... but nw i borrow frm my friend a standard copy haf this problem
pls help!

It seems that even may be breaking the licencing agreement of this copy of
SQL server, therefore I would suggest that you remove all versions of SQL
Server on this machine and purchase a legal copy. If this is not a
production system, then the developer edition may be the most appropriate
licencing which is about $50 USD.
