Hi Folks,
I've just installed SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition with Reporting Services.
Via Visual Studio, I am able to create and run reports without an issue, but I am unable to launch the web element of Reporting Services, via http://localhost/reports
I get the message "Page cannot be found".
I have run the install a second time in the hope of a "repair" but it has made no difference.
FYI, from within IIS, I cannot see reference to a website for "reports".
Any ideas?
If there is not reference for Report or ReportServer, then you probably did not install the Reporting Server. make sure that the prerequisites are fullfilled before installing the server.HTH, Jens Suessmeyer.
http://www.sqlserver2005.de|||You may have unchecked the option to configure the server during the install. Try launching the RS 2005 Configuration tool from Start->All Programs->Microsoft SQL Server 2005->Configuration Tools->Reporting Services Configuration. This should allow you to check of everything is set up correctly.
